Proposal for a Queensland Education Trust
The Government has released a proposal paper ‘From Mines to Minds: A Queensland Education Trust’. The Queensland Government proposes to channel royalties from the coal seam gas industry to create a Trust for use in creating opportunities in higher education and in training.
The proposal paper seeks your views on the best way to establish and manage the Trust to deliver improved educational outcomes in the future. This consultation will remain open until 17 February 2012.
