Queensland Women in the Public Service

Welcome!

Queensland Women in the Public Service (QWIPS) is the network for Queensland women working in the public sector. It was formed in 1982 to promote the status of women employed in government.

QWIPS aims to provide a valued forum through which women's leadership is encouraged, career and personal development are actively supported and issues relating to women's working lives are articulated.

A Management Committee leads the organisation and coordinates an annual program of activities such as networking functions, development workshops, a mentoring program and topical seminars.

QWIPS Christmas Networking Event

QWIPS would like to invite you to our December Networking Event on Tuesday 6 Decemeber at the The Marque Hotel (103 George St, Brisbane). Drinks from 5:30 with a dinner service is available from 6pm for those who wish to stay on. It's a chance to network and hear about our plans for 2012. We would love to see you there!
